The more I travel across the southern United States, the more I appreciate the diversity and authenticity of the landscape. From rolling hills to coastal marshes and the gravel back roads that connect here to there, there is a love and appreciation of this part of the world from the people who live or have lived here that is inimitable.

That love and appreciation really got me thinking. The result of that thinking is a new series simply entitled “The Beautiful South” – my ode to the visceral, weathered, and irrepressible mood that you only find in the American south.
