White Sands National Park is in southern New Mexico and is truly an amazing place. The “sand” here is actually gypsum so while it looks just like beach sand, it’s actually much denser and you don’t sink much in it when you walk except up and down steep slopes.

Right around sunset, I stumbled upon a yucca plant that looked just like a golfer in mid-backswing. I’m sure he made good contact.
